Our Journey to Adoption

We are Brad and Ashley Bovey, and we’re so thankful you stopped by! We’ve been married for 11 wonderful years and currently live outside Springfield, Ohio.

Here’s a little about how we met: We both worked at Walmart—Brad in security, Ashley as a sales associate in health and beauty. Over time, we slowly became friends and exchanged phone numbers. Our friendship grew through playing video games together, though we often spent more time talking for hours in the game lobby than actually playing. Once we started dating, it didn’t take long to realize we had found our perfect other half. Brad proposed after just five months of dating, and we were married nine months later.

Since childhood, Ashley has dreamed of adopting and providing a loving home for a child. Even before we were engaged, we talked about adoption and what we wanted our future family to look like. We both believe that being blessed with the privilege to adopt would bring immense joy. After Ashley’s diagnosis of PCOS and the challenges we faced trying to create a biological family, our commitment to adoption has only been strengthened. Above all, we want to be parents more than anything.
